What does the filter reduce?
We're finalizing independent testing on exactly what the filter reduces and by how much. We won't publish specific performance numbers until we can back them with real data, not supplier claims. What we can say: it's a replaceable filter cartridge, not a static plastic showerhead.
Does it soften hard water?
No. Water softening is a separate, more involved process, typically a whole-home system. We don't make that claim.
Will it fit my shower?
It's built for the standard shower arm fitting used in most homes. It's not currently confirmed for enclosed panel systems, ceiling-mounted rain arms, or non-standard regional fittings. If it doesn't fit, you're covered by our 14-day fit-and-flow guarantee.
Will it reduce water pressure?
We haven't independently measured this yet, so we won't guess. If pressure feels noticeably different for your setup, that's covered by our 14-day guarantee.
How often should the cartridge be replaced?
We're finalizing the recommended replacement interval with our supplier and will publish it here once confirmed, rather than estimate.
How do I install it?
Unscrew your existing showerhead, attach the Smoovea system with the included washer, then run the water briefly and check the seal. No plumber needed.
Are replacement filters available?
